GROVE CLASSES WILL RESUME IN FALL 2010

The Sacramento Grove of the Oak is begining its next set of introductory classes for those interested in Druidry and Witchcraft. Classes will begin Fall 2010 and will be held the first and third Sunday of the month, The class duration will be one year. See below for class descriptions, times and requirements.

CLASS COSTS:
$20.00 a month or sliding scale based on service to the Grove. Fees cover costs of materials excluding texts.
Text costs will be approximately $10-$15.

World of Witchcraft

Informational workshops and classes that cover witchcraft as it is practiced around the world. There may be field trips (TBA) as well as the class meetings. Class size is limited.

World of the Bard - An introduction to Celtic spirituality and philosophy

Training in the Bardic level of Druidry, including but not limited to Celtic history and philosophy, the wheel of the year, the fundamentals of Druid magic, creating and nurturing spiritual community, ritual development, tree communication, Druid meditation, the Ogham Alphabet, working with nature spirits, transformational magic, creation and maintenance of sacred space, and the arts as spiritual practice. There will be a lab hours requirement (TBA) as well as the class meetings. Class size is limited.
